Shot ideas

I'm thinking of doing some updated shots of previous photos I have taken. Same kind of shot, just updated with color film and editing software I didn't have at the time. Also utilizing the knowledge and skills I lacked at the time to get a proper shot. First one I plan on redoing is Self Portrait. I want to use the TV as a mirror again, and still put things around the TV that reflect my personality. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to make the shot better, or more refined? Thanks.

Tragically, I think the truck got hauled off in a pile of scrap metal.

aw man. Another potential classic truck sold to the scrappers... oh well. I can only hope the floor was rusted out and there was nothing left of the bed.
